Friday Five
1. Do you watch sports? If so, which ones?
I watch as much of the Olympics as I can get, generally, especially gymnastics and skating. I'll watch tennis being played at Wimbledon, some football (soccer), and I'll generally keep tabs on stuff like the Tour de France, the Triple Crown (Belmont Stakes/Preakness/Kentucky Derby), and other championships -- if it has 'World Cup' in the name I might pay attention, whether it's sailing or hockey.
2. What/who are your favorite sports teams and/or favorite athletes?
I'm just not into sports, you know?
3. Are there any sports you hate?
Naw. I'll even enjoy watching a well-played football game with my dad.
4. Have you ever been to a sports event?
Just little stuff when I was a teen. A couple baseball games at the...high school level?
5. Do/did you play any sports (in school or other)? How long did you play?
As a little kid, I studied dance. Then gymnastics in middle school/high school, and martial arts in college. I wear glasses, so anything with a flying ball makes me kind of nervous, you know?
