Playing by Heart
I watched the most adorable little movie last night, Playing by Heart
Gillian Anderson, Angelina Jolie, Madeline Stowe, Gena Rowlands, Ellen Burstyn, Sean Connery, Ryan Phillippe, Dennis Quaid, Anthony Edwards, Jay Mohr, Jon Stewart -- Jesus, how often do you get this much talent in one little movie? And it's a little movie. Intimate, involved, multiple threads of love coming together. There are no big explosions, car chases, time travel or spaceships in this film.
It's just a little gem of a movie about love and living. A garnet perhaps, the color of the heart.
