Sliding Doors
Lovely film. Definitely see it. Gwyneth Paltrow, John Hannah (whom I adore completely), John Lynch, Jeanne Tripplehorn. Difficult to describe. IMDB says "A London woman's love life and career both hinge, unknown to her, on whether or not she catches a train. We see it both ways, in parallel."
Yeah, I guess that's good enough. There is no 'main thread' and 'secondary thread', there's two completely parallel ones that split at the train's doors, and reconnect, sort of, at the end of the film. It's bizarre, and very worth seeing, and reminded me vaguely of a film called "La Double Vie de Veronique", by Krzysztof Kieslowski, that I saw many long years ago.
