More movie-watching

Caught "Bulletproof Monk", which was fun, on pay-for cable yesterday. Quite a bit lighter then "28 Days Later". :-) Also caught all but the first 20 minutes of "Silverado" on one of the regular cable stations, which is funny because I'd been staring at it on my shelf, saying "do I want to watch this, or rent Bulletproof Monk?" So I got both, basically.

Silverado is just a great movie. It just is. What else can I say?

A new version of "MacBeth"

The film, "Scotland, PA". cortese, you'll get a kick out of it. It's all set around this couple at a burger joint who kill their boss to create a fast-food empire, in Scotland, PA. The police lieutenant investigating the death is McDuff.

I'm an idiot, I didn't even twig to it being a MacBeth until over half-way through. I just watched it because it sounded weird and had Maura Tierney in it.

Definitely worth seeing.
