Why am I still awake? Oh, I know why: I'm re-reading "Dr. Jackson's Diaries". Stupid me.

Look! My copy of the Ian McKellan "Richard III" arrived! Cool!

But the leasing office has the box from Amazon with *** and *** and "Fallen" by Evanescence, and ***, and they're holding it hostage. I, alas, leave for work before the leasing office opens and get home after it closes, which means FedEx delivered the fucker on time, but I DON'T GET TO HAVE IT. C'mon! There are books in that box! And unlike Prufrock's mermaids, they're singing to me at full volume.

Sigh.

And what's one DVD without another? Branagh's "Henry V".

Wine, soy milk, beef kielbasa, candles (on sale), this weird jello and faux-whipped cream thing that has no real food in it at all, dried salami, crackers, mangos, this awesome apricot preserves that is tempting me to bake a cake just so I can frost it with this stuff, uh.. -- oh, wait, I bought a two-pack of Grandma's brand oatmeal-raisin cookies as a snack this afternoon. Forget it.

Favorite person of the day: What, someone I saw today? That's not fair! It was all work! I guess R., who made me laugh real hard at lunch. I mean *real hard*. Oh! Wait! Now it's back to the day-to-day default of cortese.
