Wow, that was really good
Apr. 14th, 2004 12:10 amI had seen 4 Firefly episodes when the show was initially broadcast:
Before I had the supreme pleasure of watching "Out of Gas", now that I have the entire series on DVD.
Holy shit. That was a beautiful episode. Holy shit, that was a beautiful episode. And the final scene paid off. I might actually watch it again instead of moving on to the next ep.
Now, just so you understand the depth of my enjoyment, I actually found myself thinking, with proper spoilers, of course,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cortese might enjoy this show very much. At the very least, the language aspect, of taking place 500+ years in the future after the sino-american alliance has had plenty of time to affect the lingua franca. (Mandarin being a regular part of the dialogue.)
But, gosh, that was good. Left me with all kinds of thoughts about tie-in novels. Are there any? I mean, for me to write, not read?
