applecameronNever read it, watched (taped) the film version last night, and good thing, too, since I fell asleep for at least half an hour if not more, in the middle of it. Hey! It was too late at night!
1989, Sammi Davis, Paul McGann, Amanda Donohoe. This is going to sound like such a silly-weird thing to comment on -- his (McGann's) skin is so young in this film (see? toldya: silly. weird. 'silly-weird'. Seird?). It's so tight. It's skin that just screams late teens/early 20's, although he was older, unless the time between filming and release was way, way, off.
Oh, yes, gratuitious nudity from a US audience perspective, and that would be 'nudity' as far as the civilized world is concerned. I'll probably watch it again when I'm not falling asleep in the middle of films, so I can actually see the whole thing.
