'Daniel Deronda'

Watched 'Masterpiece Theatre' last week (and this) and pointed at the screen and said, "look, Jamie Bamber! And David Bamber, too!" (Didn't point this week, only last week. Your mileage may vary professional driver on a closed course.)

Jamie plays Hans Meyrick in 'Daniel Deronda', with a terribly cute goatee, and David B (whom I absolutely adored as Mr. Collins in 'Pride and Prejudice') is Lush.

Interesting miniseries, but I've never read the book.

(Note unspoken 'yet' at end of previous sentence.)

I've been curious about that version of "Deronda" for some time. I want to buy it on DVD -- yeah, when I get a fucking JOB. But I'm glad it's a good version; I've heard nothing but good stuff about it.
