Screencaps of 'Aliens'
Apr. 24th, 2004 08:04 pmDoes anyone have screencaps of 'Aliens'? I can think of more than a few scenes that would make good icons.
Specifically (and these descriptions *are* specific for you icon makers out there) an animated icon of "nuke the site from orbit"/"It's the only way to be sure", and a (static) icon of Ripley getting her game face on in the elevator when she goes to rescue Newt, and (another static) an icon of the moment earlier when Cpl. Hicks says "Game time", and the room is lit all in red because the aliens have cut the power.
In addition, the scene when the aliens have gotten past the door ("they're in the room", "it's wrong", "it's not wrong", "then you're reading IT wrong") inside the compound, inside the room where everyone is waiting for the attack, there are various shots that could make cool icons.
And, of course, the final scene with Vasquez and Gorman. Or, as one could put it, 'Vasquez and Gorman's final scene'.
I think *I* only have this movie on VHS. "Just FYI", she said, innocently.
So, the reason this comes up *today* is that I watched various parts whilst waiting for a certain phone call (job-related), and, of course, I missed the end of the film, but I got to see Ripley get into her 'game face', as I put it earlier, which is really more accurately described as 'getting in touch with her inner psychotic killer with only one obsession: finding Newt, face.' I can deal with that, being as it's my favorite scene in the film.
