read /The Dying Days/ (8th Doctor Who)

Just finished /The Dying Days/, by Lance Parkin (I wrote Lance Perkins in an earlier post, and an earlier version of *this* post, sorry). I liked. Mars attacks, Lethbridge-Stewart leads the resistance, the Doctor's new self is a surprise to Professor Bernice Summerfield. Not a bad surprise, though, as it does appear The Doctor gets laid. My, my, my.

Today/tomorrow: Fifth Doctor episodes.

Woo hoo, Dying Days! I love the ending to that book, and not just the smut allusions.

Oh, I was going to wait until I'd taken a crack at the 'missing scene' myself before reading GtL.

I read 'Like follows Like' and 'In a Handful of Dust' and just sniffled all the way through 'em.
