applecameronI have this urge to write a Sports Night fic about Sept. 11, 2001. Lots of different versions of things have been colliding in my head. People dying, people surviving...
Fortunately, I know nothing about the layout of New York, ample reason to not attempt a fic. And I'm not sure we know where the show is set, though there's an episode where someone mentions broadcasting from Rockefeller Center. And, *dang*, that's some tough dialogue to mimic, that show. No, thank you. I'm sure I'll come up with some more reasons to lie down until the urge passes.

Of course, it also occurred to me to wonder if there've been any novels out that use the fake-your-own-death trope with the towers' collapse as the death. Maybe it's too soon.
