Spent the day lollygagging

Unexpectedly but delightedly spent the day with elke, stabbing big fat (fangs!) plotbunnies, or at least trying to, and treated her to an advance-publication read of The Other "The Phantom Menace" story that I wrote back in the day, and a run-down on the Mystery Potter Story Possibly Appearing Soon At A Theatre Near You, Then Again, Maybe Not.

In return, witnessed approximately 3,245,058 plot bunnies from a myriad of fandoms hop past. Accosted as many as I could before retiring from the field.

Casualty lists may be posted later.

Non-fannish topics were much under discussion as well, particularly cookbooks and food, which later resulted in the preparation of potato soup with kielbasa. Bread had been baked earlier in the day, and was, if I do say so myself (and why not, I'm the one posting), delicious.

Note to self: elke now has copy of "A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia".

Note to elke: The Robotech middle series' main female character was Dana Sterling, daughter of two characters from the first series. She joins the Army of the Southern Cross, and that series is "Robotech Masters", set 10/15 years after the Macross Saga. SG-1 Drabble, Watching Stargate SG-1 on SciFi

Watched the SG-1 monday marathon -- well, I only watched 1.5 episodes, actually, 'Ascension' and 'Red Sky', and then got distracted by Billy Wilder's film "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes" over on Turner Classic Movies.

This is what will happen to you if you channel-surf, kids. Don't let the tragedy strike you! Buy War Bonds today!
