1. What housekeeping chore(s) do you hate doing the most?
Washing dishes.

2. Are there any that you like or don't mind doing?
Picking things up and 'putting them away', is kind of nice because I have such a feeling of accomplishment. Mostly, however, I'm a slob.

3. Do you have a routine throughout the week or just clean as it's needed?
I clean only when absolutely necessary.

4. Do you have any odd cleaning/housekeeping quirks or rules?
Yes. When washing dishes, silverware is always last.

5. What was the last thing you cleaned?
The bowl for my soup for dinner last night?

read /The Dying Days/ (8th Doctor Who)

Just finished /The Dying Days/, by Lance Parkin (I wrote Lance Perkins in an earlier post, and an earlier version of *this* post, sorry). I liked. Mars attacks, Lethbridge-Stewart leads the resistance, the Doctor's new self is a surprise to Professor Bernice Summerfield. Not a bad surprise, though, as it does appear The Doctor gets laid. My, my, my.

Today/tomorrow: Fifth Doctor episodes.

One Dr. Who hetfic (8/Bernice) later

So, one of the parameters versaphile indicated as acceptable for The Birthday Project™ included hetfic as well as slash. Equally so, since there's a perfect 'missing scene' slot for "The Dying Days" (by Lance Parkin) to accomodate such, I had to take a crack at it. Teasing sex with some Bernice-introspection. I'm pleased, I don't write a lot of hetfic. I think I might steal from myself later for an original piece to sell. Hm. Have to think about that.

Anyway, I need to sit on it a bit and see if there's any tweaking I'd like to make before release (probably watch some Five eps in the interim), and then there's just The Big Decision.
