Well, it worked. Damn. Kate Orman is like crack. All you need is one hit of her Doctor Who and you're standing on a cyberspace streetcorner asking if someone can hook you up, man.

Two major hits in about as many days: Vampire Science and Seeing I. Both way, way better than I ever expected from anything like a media tie-in novel. Not only did I have a rip-roaring good time reading them (I'm still high, from Seeing I), I actually came away from the experience with something important each time. Now, that's amazing.

I've always been amused by it. I think, because Sam figures out the whole thing is a go'auld plot simply because of GRAVITY.

Ha! Take *that* electro-weak force! And *that*, k-meson! And *that*, you Bose-Einstein condensates! *HA*! You think you're soooooo sexy and cutting-edge, after all, gravity's *boring*. Well think again.

And then there's the comedic tone, and I like funny. Cuz...y'know, it's funny.
