The Versaphile Birthday Project redux

Well, it is That Time Again.

I have Real Life Issues that have changed the demands on my time, but I am here today to swear a Not-so-Mighty Oath!

I will try to write a fic for Versaphile's Birthday this year!

Now, remember that a Mighty Oath last year resulted in several Doctor Who stories and two or three Hornblower vignettes.

I make no promises (see real-life-issue caveat above) of such output this year, in fact, that's impossible. Period.

So. I know Wes/Angel angsty pairing is the wallow of the moment over in versaphile-land, but I have no Angel episodes to view, so....I may not be able to go there. Unless I try something AU-ish. I don't know.

But! I shall try! To do...something!

Well, I know 'Angel' in the sense of having watched the show - pretty regularly though not religiously, and I did drop off the map for a season somewhere - but I have zero access to it. That makes me nervous, I guess. I like to have my finger on lots of canon dialogue, and I don't have TV now.

But, I don't know...I hauled out that series finale fixit and wrote another page after it, last night. There might be something there if I keep the cast down to a bare minimum. I'm not sure I can get them to hot, steamy, sex, but I could get them to some kind of ever-after with hot, steamy, sex on the horizon, so to speak.

How*ever*....let's see, fandoms where I have lots of canon at my fingertips:

Stargate
XFiles
Firefly (what there is of it, I got)
Brimstone (almost all the eps, I think)
I only have seasons 1&2 of Buffy.
I only have season 1 of Babylon 5, but there's some VHS tapes in the closet from later seasons. I don't know how complete, though.
I have all of Blakes' 7.
All of Ultraviolet.
Star Wars, got that!

(And, I had thought of doing a Smallville-Buffy post-series xover. Lex/Buffy. Actually, make that Buffy/Lex, because she is Definitely On Top.)

Would anything off this list seem more appealing? I personally feel kind of good with this longer fixit now that I've picked it back up. I know I really like the idea of doing something in your current fandom.

So, what do you want for your birthday? Smut? Specific characters? Both if possible? Something else?

Perhaps this site (http://www.buffy-vs-angel.com/guide_ang.shtml) could help? Transcripts and guides to all the Angel eps. Actually, the longer fixit would be excellent if you could manage it.
