And that means me! Wheeee! And that's about all the excitement you get, because damn, I'm boring.
1. Total number of films I own on DVD/video:
Oh. Um. Films only? 5, maybe 6 feet worth of DVDs, and (*squints*) probably about 2 feet worth of VHS.
2. The last film I bought (DVD):
*has no frigging clue*
I don't have any money right now, so the last film I bought on DVD was over a year ago. Probably - no, wait. The last film I bought on DVD was probably /Night of the Living Dead/, because I found it in a bargain bin somewhere for a dollar or so last summer, along with this old Aussie movie by Jodie Foster titled /Mesmerized/, that I still haven't watched.
3. The last film I watched:
/Seabiscuit/. I checked it out from the library. Awesome film. Absolutely awesome. I'm in awe. That was two or three nights ago, I've been watching Agatha Christie "Miss Marple" adaptations (Caribbean Mystery, The Mirror Crack'd, Sleeping Murder, 4:50 From Paddington) since then, also courtesy of my local library. Do they count as film or TV?
As for theaters...I haven't been to a movie theater probably in a year, maybe two. My guess is LOTR:ROTK.
4. Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
I rewatch a lot of action flicks, as I like good mindless fun. Mostly chick action flicks like the "Charlie's Angels" movies, the Lara Croft movies, The Fifth Element. I wish I had the X-Men movies, I'd watch them a lot if I did.
Anyway, so, there's the possibility of a deep disconnect for me between "watch a lot" and "meaningful".
I watch the LOTR and Harry Potter films a lot, and Stigmata, and the chick action flicks I mentioned.
Meaningful and Watch a Lot overlap most for me in films of Jane Austen's work.
5. The very last VHS video I bought:
I haven't bought anything on VHS in years. Unless you want to open the floor to non-film, in which case, I just bought a bunch of tapes of Starsky and Hutch, purportedly the whole series. *blushes*
