Long day.
Longer night.
They were drunk. All of them. Well past that point where a reasonable type would put the fucking bottle down and stagger away. Daniel was on the floor. Teal'C had rolled him onto his side, pragmatic as ever. Couldn't have SG-1 choking to death on their own vomit, could we? Wouldn't be a noble enough death for the premier team.
Fuck premier team. All the journeys through the gate. All the returns to open arms, those damn gloves, and a needle. Shit.

Jack took Sam's hand and pulled her close, body language saying what voice could not.
"Yeah." she said, back, muffled, crying into his chest. "Yeah, I'm going to miss her, too."
