*grrrrrr*

Apparently, they're cutting down a tree in the courtyard. (Yesterday, I thought, "apparently, they're trimming a tree". Current data indicates this is no longer the case.) Said arbor is directly between my bedroom and my office windows and a couple meters from the apartment wall.

Chainsaw. 8 am. I retired for bed at 2 am after doing some web page checking for a friend of mine.

Just for the record? A chainsaw in the morning is worse than a gas-powered leafblower, which was both yesterday's and Monday's wake-up noise. All things, i.e., my bedtime, being equal.

I need a good, verbose, cussing language. English is too curt, I want something lyrical, where, may parasites gnaw your intestines from inside-out for a thousand years, or gods curse you with skin-devouring necrotic bacteria and a desperate mini-cam news crew is considered "a little short, but OK in a pinch".

Close ;). It's "I'll ass-fuck you and make you blow me." Irrumabo always has an element of compulsion to it - hence the insult "irrumabator" for "one who compels others to fellate him," or more coloquially, "one who treats others with contempt."

(And if you think this is sad, I'll spare you the long conversation about active and passive sexual verbs a friend and I had in the Las Vegas airport while discussing that particular term ;).

I like the one you mention, though.

Ah.

Is the element of compulsion par for the course for sexual verbs used in the passive voice, or does it vary?

It was more the observation that we could not find a literal English word for "one who is fellated," or for the act of being fellated, that led to the observation that, in English, fellatio is the only sexual act for which the active verb is assigned to the one being penetrated. This led to an attempt to create a verb for such based on Latin roots. It was several minutes before we realized that the people in line with us were very pointedly NOT staring in a mixture of horror and amusement.

Language geeks should not be allowed to travel together.
